HoldOn is built on a simple principle: your financial habits are yours alone. We collect only what's strictly necessary to make the app work, and we never sell your data.

1. Who we are

HoldOn ("we", "our", "us") is an iOS application developed by Vincent Betis. You can contact us at holdon.app@gmail.com.

2. What data we collect

We collect the minimum data required to provide the service:

• Account information — your first name and email address, collected when you create an account after subscribing to Premium.
• Usage data — interception events (app name, outcome, amount saved), monthly budget, and streak data, stored to power your personal dashboard.
• Subscription status — whether you are on a free or Premium plan, managed via RevenueCat.
• Promo code usage — if you enter a referral code, we store which code was used and when, for commission tracking purposes.

3. How we use your data

• To display your personal savings dashboard and statistics
• To maintain your streak and interception history
• To manage your Premium subscription
• To attribute referrals to influencer partners (promo codes only)
• To respond to your support requests

4. Third-party services

We use the following trusted third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Supabase — database and authentication (supabase.com/privacy)
• RevenueCat — subscription management (revenuecat.com/privacy)
• Google Sign-In — optional authentication (policies.google.com/privacy)

5. Apple Screen Time & Family Controls

HoldOn uses Apple's Screen Time API (Family Controls framework) to monitor when you open the shopping apps you've selected. This monitoring happens entirely on your device. The list of apps you choose to watch is never sent to our servers — it stays private on your iPhone, managed by Apple's secure framework.

6. Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at holdon.app@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at holdon.app@gmail.com.

8. Children's privacy

HoldOn is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
